Not exactly like the wormhole on this site, but I went to the geocaching website and take me to the old search and postal code and typed in my zip code, 54952. The caches that came up were in the Czech Republic. Trying several other nearby zip codes gave me caches listed in my area. I’ve always thought Menasha was a world apart. I guess the web programmers agree!

found this explaination. Waupaca does the same thing…

Taking the interstate instead of a parallel route is not always the time saver you may think.

A couple of years ago I got on the I at Tomah and headed North to Millston, passing a bunch of red barrels on the way and noting more red barrels in the South bound lane as well.

On my return trip I chose to ignore Nuvi and head South on hwy 12, which was smoother and less congested than the I.

When Nuvi recalculated my ETA it added 2 min.

But did the Nuvi keep nagging you to get back on the interstate? 😉

Yes, at least until I had cleared the South edge of Millston, then it gave up and recalculated.

Sounds like my adventures out in the middle of nowhere, the problem being every gravel road looks as good as any other when you first turn off the highway.

… and it’s over an hour later. Still raining, still Friday.

Oh my. Ready for bed and my wife and son and still up talking. 19 hrs into my day and I’m done. Ready to be a party pooper and leave this party.

Are there ever any races for the FTP anymore?
