2.5″ of rain here in East Sandland this morning, not sure if there is any more on the way.

We got hit, too.  It stopped by 9AM and has cooled off very nicely now.  Not sure what our rainfall was.  Enough that we were up bailing the scapewell window. 🙁

And only twenty miles west of East Sandland, we received only 0.9″ of rain in the rain gauge.

Mudslides, downed lines, and flooded streets just another day in the city.

I saw the zoo interchange mess on the news.

None of that wet nonsense here. Just dry heat.

Rained here in Neenah so hard that I had water pooled on the passenger side of the Jeep’s floorboard even with the windows up and door closed tight. Good things there are drain plugs and sunshine (with a little “s”)

Getting set up to make fresh pico de gallo.  Chips and salsa for appetizers tonight!

The last two days spent in Springfield, off to Hannibal in the morning and then Galena on Saturday. All places we have never been to before.

First day in a long time without some sort of athletics event going on! Got to come home like a normal teacher and spend time with the kids. My wife is sick, so she’s resting, but at least I’m home to let her rest.

Tomorrow night is our first home football game. Maybe we will win. I didn’t get to a game last year, so I get to supervise something I’ve never observed. Wish I could be spared to go to town to watch the girls play volleyball, but our new AP lives in town, so she gets that assignment.

Checked my finds calendar. You sure can tell when it has been a school week!
