Insurance nightmare was explained pretty good yesterday.

The company could not find a private carrier to offer them a group insurance plan. It is a small company between 40-60 people, since the recession. It was 125-150, before the recession The risk to private insurance companies was too great. In the past, they would have offered increased rates, but due to the new landscape of insurance they simply refuse to offer companies in this position group coverage and steer them to their plans on the exchanges. Once we pick our plan, the company will pay their normal percentage of the plan through a COL raise (Happy face). They are currently below 50 employees, so they may pay more, but if they get above 50 they will not due to the fact they would be subject to penalties. Everyone got the feeling they will stay below 50 to avoid the penalty (Red Flag).

We met with a broker about options.

The drive back to Door County Sunday in the fog was quite the experience. It got thicker as we got closer. Very white knuckle with vehicles appearing what seemed like out of nowhere on the highway. Surprised I didn’t hear about any serous accidents on the news.

I had the same issue. I contacted T B C and he suggested clicking on the Lost Password section and resetting my password. That worked.

I went to middle earth today in Imax 3-D (Used dad-in-law’s coke points to get two tickets and a large coke). It seemed like a 2 hour 50 minute sword fight. It was fun. The added bonus was the Star Wars and Jurassic World trailer in I-max 3D.
