What are everyone’s adventures for the weekend? I’m heading to Norway, MI. I’m going to be an honorary Yooper for a little over 24 hours
Following the signals from space.
09/18/2015 at 9:58 am #2042966I’m , ah, hmm …
Guess I am working this weekend. BooDisclaimer : Always answering to a higher power.
09/18/2015 at 11:25 am #2042967So we can look forward to more odd-hours drivel posts form the Rat this weekend. π And I hope this means you will have next weekend off to go picnicking and waterfalling.
As for us, work around the house and then go to the Brewers game on Sunday. We’re hoping to be part of that record-breaking crowd there on a nice Packers Sunday near the end of a rotten season ( π ) BUT against the team that is below the Crew in the standings AND on Scooter Gennett gnome bobblehead day.
09/18/2015 at 11:26 am #2042968I’m thinking of taking the weekend off.
09/18/2015 at 11:46 am #2042970I’m heading to Haugen, WI for an Order of the Arrow weekend. Driving up solo and have caches loaded along the route. On the way back, though, I’m giving a Scout a ride and he needs to be back in Wausau in time to get ready for his Eagle Scout Court of Honor. I think it might cause him some stress if I’m stopping to find pill bottles and matchstick holders along the way.
09/18/2015 at 2:28 pm #2042977EAA Warbird Fly-in in Oconto tomorrow…I seem to miss it every year cuz I’m off spoiling the grandkids…or looking for tupperware treasure in the woods.
Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)
09/18/2015 at 2:47 pm #2042978This weekend is the Fox Cities Marathon events, including the 5K tomorrow.Β And I get to cache at Hartman Creek State Park, so a busy, but fun weekend!

09/18/2015 at 3:10 pm #2042980Does anyone else bake the whole pound of bacon and just finish frying in a pan when needed?
09/18/2015 at 3:31 pm #2042981Does anyone else bake the whole pound of bacon and just finish frying in a pan when needed?
When needed? Bacon is always needed. A pounds doesn’t last long around here.
09/18/2015 at 3:45 pm #2042982Have you baked it, Jim? Β 12 – 14 slices lasts for a couple weeks around here.

The dancing bacon link got left on the old website… so I just read about mindfulness. π
09/18/2015 at 5:01 pm #2042984Resting up this weekend, in prep for vacation next week, north of Hwy. 8, Hwy. 64 and Hwy. 77! HCH… what’s the name of the old Famous Dave’s BBQ in Hayward that was rebuilt? It’s on the “stuff our faces” list!
09/18/2015 at 5:01 pm #2042985Here’s the set up…
