So we can look forward to more odd-hours drivel posts form the Rat this weekend. 😉 And I hope this means you will have next weekend off to go picnicking and waterfalling.

As for us, work around the house and then go to the Brewers game on Sunday. We’re hoping to be part of that record-breaking crowd there on a nice Packers Sunday near the end of a rotten season ( 🙄 ) BUT against the team that is below the Crew in the standings AND on Scooter Gennett gnome bobblehead day.

I’m heading to Haugen, WI for an Order of the Arrow weekend. Driving up solo and have caches loaded along the route. On the way back, though, I’m giving a Scout a ride and he needs to be back in Wausau in time to get ready for his Eagle Scout Court of Honor. I think it might cause him some stress if I’m stopping to find pill bottles and matchstick holders along the way.

EAA Warbird Fly-in in Oconto tomorrow…I seem to miss it every year cuz I’m off spoiling the grandkids…or looking for tupperware treasure in the woods.

This weekend is the Fox Cities Marathon events, including the 5K tomorrow.  And I get to cache at Hartman Creek State Park, so a busy, but fun weekend!

When needed? Bacon is always needed. A pounds doesn’t last long around here.

Have you baked it, Jim?  12 – 14 slices lasts for a couple weeks around here.

Resting up this weekend, in prep for vacation next week, north of Hwy. 8, Hwy. 64 and Hwy. 77! HCH… what’s the name of the old Famous Dave’s BBQ in Hayward that was rebuilt? It’s on the “stuff our faces” list!
