Mr. President, the fall picnic is not in Minnesota. 😉

Time for us to head north of Highway 64 and some great caching. Of course, we’re not done packing yet.

More spam logs. They seem to be better refined this time because the logs mention “found this geo”(instead of cache) and have a vaguely British tone in the structure and words used with the same link at the end as the others. No cheats this time.

Well, apparently some new kayak skills are not the only thing I picked up the other night. I seem to have pulled a beccaday and must have walked through a little patch of poison ivy. In my defense, it was dark when we finished. The only other time I’ve had a case of it was, you guessed, in the dark.

I went out onto the lake today for about an hour to explore and practice my new improved skills until the breeze picked up. I pulled the plug when I realized I was just falling back on my bad habits to battle that. Fun anyway. I hope to do this anytime conditions are favorable and I’m around….so the yellow kayak remains atop the Lime Squeeze.

Greeting from north of Highway 64!  Found four caches today in Eau Claire, and then four more in the Hayward area.  Some nice leaf color around, but not a lot.  Had fish fry tonight with… cheeze.  See y’all tomorrow if you’re going to the picnic.  If you’re not, then keep the home fires burning along with the drivel pages!
