The sun has come out and the Lady Bugs are swarming. Looking out I can see about 50 on a West window.

Right now ours are boxelder bugs, mostly on the west side in the afternoon. For me, much worse. Had huge globs of them where we lived as a kid. I remember my dad taking a flame thrower to them once. (They were on a tree, not the side of the house.)

Just checked on her. She is actually asleep. She has had long days the past two with school,play rehearsal, and the concert. I was happy to be able to take her to the Starry place this morning. I won’t see her in the morning. I have an early meeting. The wife took off. Her bus to Chicago leaves here at 10:30. Her flight leaves at 4:30. She arrives at 5:00am local. They have a bus tour in the morning and a concert at Wesley College in Dublin in the evening. Then the next day, they are going to see the puffins on the Cliffs of Moher.
