Whew, first 5 day week in a few and it has been exhausting.

On my way home from yoga this morning, I saw an honest to goodness train spotter.  Guy standing on the overpass, checking his watch and making notes in a little notebook as a train passed under him.

And people think geocaching is weird.

Two hour trip to get the oil changed in the geomobile today. Managed 15 finds, but way too many DNFs, especially in Medford. Every cache involved dodging thorn bushes – or not dodging them and getting stuck. Found a 2001 hide too. Nice looking back through log BOOKS and reading old entries.

While I was gone, 20 caches published in KF. Not sure if there will be FTFs available when we get to town tomorrow, or if it will be permissible to stop because my wife has been fighting a fever for about a week. She gets them off and on when she’s stressed out.

I just received the best text.  “Good Morning there, alive?.”

She only has 100 texts for the week.  So we told her to curb the phone usage.  During the summer, I would text her every once in a while “Alive?”.  She would always would respond “No”.

Visiting my sister in Mauston today, so we’re going to take a little drive by GC355EM to see the how the leaf color is progressing there. It was just at the tips a week and a half ago.
