Not a fan of Sprecher Hard Root Beer either.
I liked Not Your Father’s Root Beer.
Coney Island has been stealing a lot of shelf space lately. I have not had this one.
If it is available, you should try Berghoff’s Rowdy Rootbeer. If you can’t find it at your favorite retailer, you should request that they get it. Yes, I work for their distributor.
10/16/2015 at 10:59 pm #2043623Wow! Two big WI caches found recently: Trekker’s Trek and Dr. Evermore!
Congrats!
The best sig is no sig.

10/17/2015 at 10:20 am #2043625Whoa, it’s been a long time since there was a discussion of beer on here. It was a staple in the first incarnation of the thread (at least the 300 pages I read of it).
The original discussion of beer was just that… beer. Beer, bonfires, and fireworks. And then s’mores. Since that time it appears that the drivelers have been conducting extensive research, so no longer is it just… beer.
10/17/2015 at 10:43 am #2043626I don’t remember when the thread started but I did read the first 100 pages, but I’ll bet there weren’t that many different beers available to sample.
10/17/2015 at 11:23 am #2043628The original thread started on March 2, 2007. There were many kinds of beer back then, but it was all just about… beer.
10/17/2015 at 1:48 pm #2043629Walked for two hours and found two D5s that were tiny rolled up containers that were stuck into drill holes that go all the way through telephone poles. I don’t remember ever seeing something like that in a pole before. Is that something that is done in WI?
I don’t know how common it is, but a few thread stealers and I have found at least one.

I remember it well.
10/17/2015 at 3:42 pm #2043632Same here.
(And hello, Hitman4!)
10/17/2015 at 6:27 pm #2043633We found a hide kind of like that phone pole one today, only it was a parking lot fencepost. We were sure glad our day’s journey was more about wine and cheesecake; high DNF percentage and the few we found weren’t in great shape, either. We cut our caching losses and headed home.
10/17/2015 at 8:26 pm #2043634Eight years ago today we found our first cache. We did not go caching today.
10/17/2015 at 9:19 pm #2043635I did not go geocaching today either. I planned on it, but then decided to stay home and get some things done around the house.
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
10/17/2015 at 10:37 pm #2043636Wheels up in 6 hours. Can’t wait to see her.
10/17/2015 at 11:25 pm #2043637I do not like beer at all.
