So….a couple of funny malapropisms from our grand-daughter today.

We were getting ready to cut out a pattern to make an “Elsa” dress for her doll. She was looking at the photo on the front of the envelope and told me….”This one is Anna’s cremation dress.” (coronation dress)

Tonight, we were reading Captain Underpants and I couldn’t remember where we’d stopped last time. “When Mr. Krupp got appetized.” It wasn’t until I’d read a bit that I realized she meant…’hypnotized.’

Our seven-year-old great-niece got baptized at church recently, but she told my sister (her grandma) that she was going to get pasteurized.

Sigh. Another year when our unpredictable life commitments in October have prevented me from securing a spot to take part in Saw Whet Owl banding outside Stevens Point. All dates are now full, with the exception of Halloween, when….another commitment.
