        Girls won handily today. Off to Redmond next Friday and Saturday. Still need to book a room, and I hear they are scarce right now.

        Double checking and cross referencing my solved/unsolved puzzles and other noteworthy things to find up there. I did see there is a cemetery close to the host school with three caches in it, plus two more within walking distance from the school.

        Boys lost the last game of the season. Two wins, both against the same team. One coach got ejected during the second possession of the game. Need to figure out how to write a report about that on Monday to submit to our version of WIAA.

        One boy hurt his knee, sprained he said today. Our QB had a hand so swollen last night he couldn’t bend any fingers. He said just bruised today.

        Hoping to be able to get out of the house tomorrow, but the forecast is for rain turning to snow overnight.

        Halloween tradition out here is to toilet paper (instead of Homecoming Week) so we’re prepared for that. One teacher each year gets the “honor” of having a (nonfunctioning) outhouse left on their lawn. We’ll see about that.

          How entertaining is this. We went to a Halloween party tonight and I sat and listened while an old white guy explained Native American history, heritage, and culture to a Native American. 😆

            Everyone must be exhausted from passing out candy.  We had 82 this year, not a record but the best we’ve had in several years.  Pretty good count considering it rained all night and our K-12 enrollment is less than that at present.  Quite a few off Island kids up for the weekend.

            Our best year was 124 kids and two dogs…  We do pass out dog biscuits for the pups.

              Mrs. Northwoods crashed about an hour ago.  She was pretty exhausted from playing Glinda the Good Witch this year.  I was the Cowardly Lion, my sister in law was Dorothy and my wife’s co-worker was the Wicked Witch.  Our Scarecrow wimped out.  The theme this year was the Emerald City with the house lit up with green laser lights.

                            One of my nephews got married on Friday evening…wedding was Halloween themed…very cool. Everyone dressed in costume…including the bride and groom. The reception had old black and white horror movies/creepy music playing in the background.

                            Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)

                              Not really. We are filling up all of our bird feeders today and getting them in pace for the winter. We use only the black oil sunflower seeds.
