      Missed the FTP. We were out hiking on National Hiking Day. Did the entire trail system at Menard’s.

        I’ll be hiking over to the school shortly to retrieve our grand daughter.  There will be a line of cars backed up two blocks from the parking lot.  It was that way yesterday.  Those kids won’t melt, will they?

                        Sooo tempting, but I shall resist.

                        Not one, not two, but three birds normally found only along the Rio Grande and south are hanging around Brookings SD.  Great Kiskadees.  Sigh.

                            One of the reasons chasing a rare bird in South Dakota is ill advised right now.

                            Basically the *only* thing that’s stopping me, actually. The winds are bad enough here, out on the flatlands it would be brutal for the Lime Squeeze.
