          about 3 inches in the big city………and still falling.

          I am sitting on the couch watching the sparrows and my squirrel friend on the feeder.  I cooked some sausage, eggs, and pancakes for breakfast.  Daughter the older is making plans, so I will be the chauffeur soon.  I think they are going to see a movie.  I don’t mind the two mile trip to the mall.

            I thought I had a brilliant idea for the snowflakes…but it won’t work.  Gotta get those stinkin’ sequins.  If my idea had worked, it would have looked much cooler.

              It was a Birdin’ morning! In order of sighting: cedar waxwing, downy woodpecker, blue jay, chickadees, snowbirds, brown creeper, geese, mallards, cardinals, 13 swan, and a woodcock. Saw 1 buck and 2 does, but no good shot presented itself.

                  I came up with another idea to rock those snowflakes. I had hoped to finish this project this weekend, but it will probably take a little longer. Not sure why I’m going to this much trouble for a doll dress for a five year old, but there you have it. I think mostly it’s enjoyment of the process and problem solving.

                  However, my research tells me the bodice of the dress has square sequinning. Really? Maybe….maybe not.
