I never was a fan of WordPress. All the forums that I’m a regular at all use the phpBB software and it is so easy to navigate. Finding each section of the board was a snap.
Perhaps, but nobody could maintain or manage it. I really don’t want to do this forever, and nobody else is volunteering.
That being said, I agree. As an intermediate step, I had to upgrade the forums to phpBB 3. Loved it.
Random comment, not a complaint, because it is hardly a serious thing…what’s with the times on our posts? I missed most of yesterday, so the times there wouldn’t mean much to me. But the comment above mine is from a time that hasn’t even occurred yet. Just wondering if I need to go into my account and accommodate for daylight savings time or something like that.
The post times appear to be GMT… Greenwich Mean Time. We are six hours behind that, so just subtract six from any posting time, and you should be able to see what actual time a post was made. If drivelers can count to 15, they *should* be able to subtract 6 from any number… 😉
So far I haven’t been able to locate the preferences section for my account, but that will come with time… somewhere.
