Adding more meat to the freezer today.
Does that mean you went out and got another deer, or are you talking about cutting up the deer you already had and putting the meat in the freezer? Or was there a deal on pork chops or hamburger at the store?
I read it as someone shot a deer, wanted the antlers mounted and traded the meat for the mount.

11/24/2015 at 9:33 am #2044688Just Galesville. I generally won’t travel more than about 45-60 minutes from home to see some rare bird. I’ve been burned a couple times lately when traveling just a little further.
South Dakota is really tempting, though. Those birds are still there. Sigh.
Lee Arrowslinger, Zuma and Leopold took a trip that way not too long ago. They may have left a few unfound although with them that’s doubtful! Check to see if they are up for another trip!

11/24/2015 at 9:56 am #2044689Snow just started. Between 3-10 inches based upon elevation. My guess is that we will get 5″
Mountain passes up to 12-20″. We decided to stay home. The best sig is no sig.
11/24/2015 at 11:38 am #2044691“Little Jim” got a nice 8-pointer on Sunday, and I added another doe. Betty says no more hunting until these 4 are in the freezer. We got 2 cut up yesterday. I’m going hunting this afternoon anyway.

No, I wouldn’t want to go caching, especially for the ones they found. There is Big Stone on the border I’d visit again if I had the chance, though. Just want to see the tropical bird hanging out south of Brookings.

11/24/2015 at 8:33 pm #2044700Well, dang! How did you get that to work, Birdin’? Maybe the secret is never to have posted it YOURSELF before, not ANYONE having made that post before.
11/24/2015 at 8:34 pm #2044701LTP by itself did not work for me just now.
11/24/2015 at 8:35 pm #2044702I could see if this works… :ftp:
