Waiting two hours for the family to wake up does not improve my attitude

11/29/2015 at 10:40 am #2044805I had thought about making some geoart of puzzles… even had the design on the map… but I couldn’t find 40 spots where I wanted to put containers, nor did I want to maintain that many. I had lots of ideas for puzzles (not as hard as “Granny Squares”) but when it comes to geoart these days, people share the coords of the solves and make group attacks on the containers, even if they aren’t all PNGs, and I didn’t want to contribute to that type of behavior, so no geoart from us.
Not many new hides from us as of late either.
11/29/2015 at 11:15 am #2044806I get to play with my lights outside today.
11/29/2015 at 11:15 am #2044807I’m working on the Fictional Characters around here. Doubt if there will be much left of them after winter (tossed next to sign posts or bridge signs) but it something to get out and find without having to travel very far, plus it’s mostly rural roads. I like wandering those.
11/29/2015 at 11:53 am #2044808We thought we were going to head back up to Eleva to finish the BINGO caches today, but we ended up being social after church. So who knows? I suppose I could work a bit more on that Elsa dress.

How could you possibly create a Sunflower in as few as 40 caches?
11/29/2015 at 5:12 pm #2044812Why, Northwoods Tom… what made you think my geoart was a sunflower? 😉
40 caches:

I had whittled the design down from 56 caches:
11/29/2015 at 5:29 pm #2044813I like both of them!
I’ve collected Krymdogs Question Mark, Sweetlifes Star and have 2/3rds of Scott543’s Smily face done. I could see a Sunflower in my future.
11/29/2015 at 7:43 pm #2044814I guess you missed the part of my post that said, “no geoart from us”. 😉 However… you could plop that grid somewhere in the water around Washington Island and find 40 hiding spots that might be fun to visit.
11/29/2015 at 7:51 pm #2044815Didn’t find any caches this weekend, but we did hike about 15 miles on different sections of the IAT over the past 3 days.
11/29/2015 at 8:03 pm #204481711/29/2015 at 8:13 pm #2044818Found a place we both really like. It’s not far from where we were living when we first moved out here. Right in the middle of the caches on Swan Lake Road to boot, but with room for a hotel at the end of the driveway too. Too bad I already used the cooler for a cache…
I liked the two 200 acres areas we looked at. One has a home site on top of a hill.
The rest were interesting but not for us.
Need to find a way to get my taxes from Turbotax. Missing one year that I guess I didn’t print and the website is going to be back in “early December”. That means we would need a whole new set of bank statements. 🙁The best sig is no sig.
11/29/2015 at 8:15 pm #2044819No caches in a while
