Craphas is falling here, and starting to stick. It would be cool if we get enough to take the fatties out in the snow. Weatherman last night told us where we are, it will be rain. *eye roll*

I remember as a kid wanting to use my bicycle in the snow, couldn’t get any traction with the rear tire.  So I came up with the clever idea to wrap a rope around the tire for traction.  It worked well until I needed to stop.  The bike had caliper breaks.

I’m now to the point of adding beaded sequins to the Elsa dress.  This must wait, however, as Trekkin’ s playing banjo and is the holder of beading needles.

It’s true.  He’s done beading.  In fact, he beaded two beautiful Anishinabe straps for me, until we decided that was a dumb re enacting persona for me.  I should find some way to put them to use.

As a kid I rode my bike all winter, every winter. Those were the ballon tire days, not fatties but half way there.

I once took it down our sled run on water tower hill, didn’t make it but then I couldn’t get my sled all the way down that run.   Not many kids made that run. One kid who did sailed out onto the road at the end and got run over by a fuel oil delivery truck. He survived with some hospital time but they shut down our sled run.
