Oh there has always been a path onto the property I suspect there is a culvert also but it’s too grown over to see.

Would that be to the north by the private property that cachers are warned to steer clear of? We just took the most direct route in, which was through the ditch. Mr. S has never wanted to return to the area after we finally made the find there.

It would be about 20-25 ft north of the direct route. The deer know where it is, there is a game trail that crosses the ditch there and heads right for GZ.

That would be where we went in. We need to go back there, or at least drive by again. Think it was 2008 when we were there last.

      Way behind. FTF Magazine?

How difficult can 2-column proofs be when they are four steps long, two of the four are “given” and the last step is the proof statement?

I had more kids score under 6/15 than over and this is after a week of notes and practice.

Guess what we are doing this week!

Tues-Thursday of work, Friday is a school day but I have to take my wife over the mountain to the doctor to see if her cerebellum is still bulging out of her skull. Coincidentally, the same day as Star Wars comes out, and we’ll be in the “big city”. w00t!

Then two entire weeks off from school. I can’t believe the vacations we get here. Thanksgiving was an entire week, plus the Friday before that for “grade prep”. Now I understand why the schools out here score so much lower than WI.

The best sig is no sig.

Fun night last night. We went to the soggy Rotary Lights, where they have all kinds of Christmas themed displays….aliens landing, a Packer kicking field goals, a fire breathing dragon….and went to the “warm house” to enjoy a Christmas program by a favorite group, String Ties. Way better than watching TV. And for a change, we didn’t have to drive all over downtown trying to find parking!

Jar42 says there is a dry path in. I don’t believe him. Seeing is believing. We shall see.

          😉

SL, is that a cache you still haven’t done???

We did it in September of 2008, early in our caching career, but we visited the location three times before for DNFs. The only way we found the cache was because Labrat had replaced the container on a very early LCG mission, and after we DNFed that once, I begged for mercy, and he gave me detailed instructions of where to look. Lots of punky decaying wood (could all be sawdust by now), GZ right next to the water (when when we weren’t being sent elsewhere), and a nasty wet ditch to get across from the road. I still have nightmares, and from his response, Labrat might also. 😉

GCVK7D – CO comes and goes. Our logs start on 11/15/2007. In spite of what jar42 claims, many others comment on the wet passage. My theory has always been that jar42 can fly.

Trekkin’ is heading off to Bice to do some cache maintenance. I was going to join him, but decided to do some scouting of my count area for the Christmas Bird Count instead. Could be a new life bird in the offing, too!

Had the last of three injections of Euflexxa into my knees today. Trying to put off knee replacement. 90% of the cartilage in my knees is gone.

I don’t need my knees for typing..
