They’re not talking caching. They’re talking about their numbers.
But it’s not about the numbers…
Oops, sorry. It’s just so hard to remember that.
01/03/2016 at 5:49 pm #2045696Maybe we’re talking about “Sometime ago” we went to a number of interesting places … or not.
01/03/2016 at 7:07 pm #2045697Only 141 for us last year. Our highest per centage of quality caches!
01/03/2016 at 7:45 pm #2045699170 when I finish logging.
01/03/2016 at 8:36 pm #2045701Changing this subject. We took down our tree. We’ve had a real tree all but one of 33 years in this house. For the first time, somehow water sat under the rug beneath the tree holder. Our wood floor there looks terrible. Some of the ugliness washed away, but it’s a big ugly blotchy square spot now.
No idea why this year. Never happened before. Ever.

2012 – 1229
2013 – 1014
2014 – 1157
2015 – 1099Not counting our first full year, when we went on a 366+ day caching streak, we’ve found caches at about the same rate for the past several years, at an average of about 3 per day. I’m guessing we’ll probably have a similar amount for 2016.

01/04/2016 at 8:54 am #2045709Birdin’, is there a small crack in your tree stand? Or maybe just a little water slopped over during one filling? All it takes is one time, and the wet rug would stay wet all season.
One time I spilled some syrup on our carpet, and even though I cleaned it up quite well (I thought), years later when we pulled up that carpet to replace it, that one little section was stuck tight to the floor beneath it.
01/04/2016 at 9:33 am #2045717Does anyone miss “sometime ago”?
Mister GT, your post is not showing up as “sometime ago” but in the future!!! 😯 (2:58 p.m., to be exact)
This will really goof up the next FTP! Oh, no!
We all need to stop driveling for a while!(And this post of mine just showed up as … sometime ago.)
01/04/2016 at 10:04 am #2045722SL, We think we know why it happened. The stand was for some reason leaning a little to one side, opposite the side where the basin would be filled. So it looked like it was filled okay, but the other side was likely dripping over. Whatever happened, it left a pretty ugly area. When these dogs are gone, if we’re still in this place, we’ll probably have someone come in and redo the whole thing.
01/04/2016 at 10:44 am #2045723“sometime soon”?
