01/11/2016 at 1:24 am #2045989One word: “BOOM” Good to see you back but under a different name, David? I can help with the old one that is stuck out there not being used if you want. PM me.

01/11/2016 at 1:32 am #2045990For those who don’t know, even though my personal life hit some major lows, our family suffered from an extreme tragedy Black Friday. That night, four different depts were called out to put out the fire which took them ten hours to do. House is a total lost. And yes, there was a real KaBoom! In garage. With that said, and I truly hate asking for hand outs, we can use meat, size 10 boots, and a handheld gps as well as a female baby tri color 12 week old puppy we are willing to pay for. Plz pm me if you can help out. Thanks!
KaBOOM
01/11/2016 at 4:56 am #2045994That is horrible David. We are glad you all are safe

01/11/2016 at 8:00 am #2045995It’s currently 1 degree in Milwaukee.
Currently -11˚ in Sandland… and we are NOT going golfing! Of any kind!
01/11/2016 at 1:10 pm #2046005I haven’t gone out yet. When the kids get out of school, I’ll have to walk the block and a half to pick up Aizy, who will complain that I didn’t bring the car. Today, she almost might have a point!
01/11/2016 at 1:55 pm #2046006This cold weather has me spending way too much time doing nothing. I read an article on Old Souls and took the quiz that links from it. I’m not all that surprised at my result. I had 89. Anything above 60 is an “Old Soul.” Here’s what they have to say. I do think it explains to some extent why some folks might see me as “stand-offish.” The mystery to me is that 11 points that say I love doing things like storytelling or improv or that kind of thing.
“As an Old Soul, you find that your outlook on life is vastly different and more matured than those around you. As a result, you tend to live your life internally, walking your own solitary path, while everyone else walks another. Therefore, you often feel alien among other people, and can experience profound feelings of loneliness. You may find that you:
⦁ Tend to be a loner.
⦁ Love knowledge, wisdom and truth.
⦁ Are spiritually inclined.
⦁ Understand the transience of life.
⦁ Tend to be thoughtful and introspective.
⦁ See the “bigger picture”.
⦁ Avoid materialism.
⦁ Tend to feel “old”, e.g. world wary, mentally tired or detached.Famous Old Souls: Carl Jung, Shirley MacLaine, Leonardo Da Vinci, Morgan Freeman, Gurdjieff, Alice Walker, Thich Nhat Hanh, Jesus of Nazareth, William Blake, Jiddu Krishnamurti, Jesse Jackson, Walk Whitman, J. S. Bach, Mother Teresa, Robert Frost, Eckhart Tolle, Paul Gauguin, Ramana Maharshi, Kahlil Gibran, Meryl Streep, Diogenes, Whoopi Goldberg, Kurt Vonnegut, Malcolm X, Emily Dickinson, Martin Luther King, John Lennon, Oscar Wilde, Lao Tzu, Mohandas Gandhi.”
I’m glad our world needs all kinds of folks. This is just one of several types out there.
01/11/2016 at 1:58 pm #2046007BTW, the source for this wasn’t one of those goofy facebook quizzes, but one from a more New-Agey site based on that type of psychology.
Just doing my part to help move this page onto a FTP for someone lurking out there today! 😉
01/11/2016 at 3:05 pm #2046008Looks like I could be an old soul, too.
01/11/2016 at 3:09 pm #2046009The eagles have landed! Well, below Petenwell Dam off Highway 21. We came back from Mauston that way a bit ago, and there were tons in the trees and a few flying around. Counted at least 30, plus three photogs on the fishing dock. Probably got everyone POed when Mr. Sandlanders hit the horn getting back into the car, and then we had trouble making it up the icy curved hill from the parking lot, squealing the tires for all of our 4-5 attempts. I know on the last attempt that got us out we were literally burning rubber.
I did not have my camera with me to take any bird pics, so that was one less thing to be embarrassed about… lens envy. 😉
01/11/2016 at 10:45 pm #2046015The Gifted Snowbuster white elephant geo-event in Milwaukee this week was a lot of fun. I won’t say how many pictures I took, but I deleted over 300 of them afterward.
01/12/2016 at 2:06 am #2046018Tuesday F T P!

01/12/2016 at 9:09 am #2046020You would think with the colder weather that this place would be more active.
Maybe we just ran out of things to say.
01/12/2016 at 9:09 am #2046021But :ftp:
And useless drivel, COME ON!!
