    I’ll fix that for you.

Time to go beat my trees.

At 1:30 I checked the depth at the back door, 6″. I shoveled a path to the garage, depth there 6″. I then shoveled a path to my mailbox, out in the open the depth was closer to 4″ overall. I then decided to fire up the snowblower and did the whole drive, its not like I had anything else to do.

That’s what Trekkin’ is doing at the moment. He went out to shovel off the deck and just kept going, I guess. It is still snowing, too.

Marie, a new grandchild would be an awesome gift!

That is exactly what I am thinking. Hopefully, she will cooperate.

Just went out and taped a snow brush to a pole and cleaned my TV dish.

My trees have the snow beaten off them. Now, just waiting for the plow to go through so I can shovel again.

        Done shoveling. About 6″ here.

        #2046748

No shovels needed here.  It is still raining however.

Happy Birthday, Marie 🙂 Grandkids are awesome…congratulations on #2…whenever he/she arrives.

It was a beautiful morning in Oconto…snow started here about 1:00…I guess the school officials were dead on with their delay…smarter than your average bartrod! I haven’t gotten out to move any snow yet so I have no idea how much we currently have. Nor do I want to know just yet.

So the groundhog saw his shadow…big deal! There’s no way winter will be over in six weeks. On the bright side, I came out of hibernation last weekend to find some caches.

          Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)

As I always tell my class, March 21 is the first day of Spring. Six weeks from today is March 15. Therefore, “six more weeks of winter” and “an early Spring” are the same thing.

All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.

            Palindrome for today: Won snow.

We have been without the NBC station from Madison on our cable all day. The message on the screen says all sorts of things that could be the cause, like a branch in front of the satellite dish or inclement weather affecting the dish, and what to try to fix it. Then there is a number to call Dish or go to their website. We do not have Dish; we have cable… very bad cable… like the only Charter system in the whole state that does not have access to all of that cool modern stuff that they love to advertise in their commercials. We haven’t had a new station added in 10-12 years, and in that time we’ve lost two. The equipment is so outdated that when Mr. S talks to the workers who are fixing the lines somewhere, they shake their heads at how bad the stuff is. Dinosaurs. I am sure today’s problem involves one of the dishes that Charter has in town to receive signals that they transmit to us over wires, and it has since come back in this past hour.

Mr. S is on the cable committee for the city, and competition is coming and is even here for some people who live near the underground fiber optic cables. It is taking forever. Meanwhile, he keeps calling Charter when there is a problem, and they always want to send a technician to our house… every… single… time. They also say that they haven’t received calls from anyone else about any outage. I tell Mr. S to tell them that’s because we are the only customer of theirs left in the city. So far he hasn’t used that line.

I just wrote a novel for my last post, and no one tried for this FTP that whole time. 😕
