Anyone know when we might see the Spring Campout event posted? We’ve been trying to get some northern cachers spooled up to go but there’s nothing out there to show them.

03/01/2016 at 11:15 am #2047369We have 5″ of craphas right now but am not expecting much more. I was just looking at the great lakes radar loop and it looks like the system grew much larger than the weatherman was expecting this morning and our friends to the South may not have been as deprived as I thought.

03/01/2016 at 1:49 pm #20473745.5″ of craphas cleared, and melting where the sun is hitting those areas. Thank goodness for the strong rays of the sun in March! The fluffy stuff is blowing around in the cold wind, though…
03/01/2016 at 2:36 pm #2047375About the same amount of craphas here too. Sun is shining but not much wind. Looks fresh & pretty … only because I think it will be gone shortly.
03/01/2016 at 3:32 pm #2047381The town just came by and plowed the road so I went out and cleaned up after them. I was just closing the garage when it occurred to me that I hadn’t checked the condition of my mice today. Looked under the car and sure enough another one has died.

03/01/2016 at 6:50 pm #2047397It snowed in Milwaukee. It was not the 6 inches they forecasted, but it was enough to be annoying.
03/01/2016 at 8:41 pm #2047410We’re down to almost nothing white on the ground. Living on the shady side of the hill with plenty of trees slows down the melt!
Reinjured my back tonight shifting bins from the garage to the basement. I think we’re the only house in the area with a basement. Don’t know how people live without one!
My Leap Day cache was a bunch of things to celebrate: FTF (after being published for two days); first CA FTF; and traditional find #1100. It would’ve been overall #1200 but I had a calendar date to fill earlier in the week and a little time on my hands while in town.
There is a challenge not too far from here that is a “10 mile challenge” – have smilies for all caches within 10 miles of your home location. I really messed that one up with this move. I went from only 1 left to find to roughly 100 thanks to all the ones on the western (far) side of Klamath Falls I have never even had a chance to get to. At least the two that are on an island (but not T5) are just outside that range.
Still no big dog, no time to check yet either. We’re going to need a barn cat or two too to get rid of the pack rats we smell. No desire to replicate the chewed wires from two summers ago.
The best sig is no sig.
