There are rumors that the kids might be home Wednesday with the wind shield warning expected.
Will it break if it gets too cold? 🙂

Too funny Noonan! Have to change that.
Those are kind of expensive but if they would stay on I’d think it would be worth it. I wonder…
Becca, You are a good dog owner. When it’s this nasty, the dogs run in and out to do what needs doing. We tried the booties with one of them but could not get her to keep them on…AT all. We’d get two on, move to the other end and the first two were already off! I had grand thoughts of learning skijoring with her, but that pretty much killed that notion. We make up for it when the weather tempers, though.
That’s a funny image Gwyn!

01/06/2015 at 6:48 am #2033214This touches on the Snowy Owl drama.
01/06/2015 at 8:06 am #2033216We took Coco to do some laps around Petco last night so she could get some movement. She pooped on the floor. *sigh* I’m sure they were thrilled! I cleaned it up though.

01/06/2015 at 9:20 am #2033222Yes, it does.
The link did not work. JSonline has a story about the snowy owls. It touches upon the drama regarding photographing them.

There is seriously drama about photographing snowy owls? Huh?

01/06/2015 at 1:01 pm #2033231I don’t know what the story is that BBG linked to, but the drama could be the controversial (and generally frowned upon) practice of luring the birds in closer, sometimes with food, for better photos. Even approaching them or making noise to get them to fly is not good. Take the photos as you see them, using long lenses, if necessary… but no artificial means to set up any shots.
01/06/2015 at 1:10 pm #2033232I refuse to be part of the luring of the snowy owls…

01/06/2015 at 1:20 pm #2033235Rodents used to bait owls may carry all sorts of diseases. I would think this would be especially so if lab rats were used… 😉
(Maybe squirrels and hamsters would be better options… 😈 )
