Make it an event cache with the promise of chocolate chip cookies at the final?
06/01/2016 at 2:02 pm #2049989Ok. Challenges are back “on” as long as you have an online checker for verification. Anyone have some advice on how to set that up?

06/01/2016 at 2:05 pm #2049990Also, I tried sending Todd a message about setting up one of those long-distance multicaches, but haven’t heard back from him…so…is anyone living in a border region interested in doing a four-state multi? I live just a few miles from California and would really hoping to tie in WI/MI into this (because that’s where I’m from), but WI/MN, WI/IL or WI/IA would work just as well.

I am guessing I am pretty close to Illinois in our new location. GC1XT34 is right by us. We might be 25 miles north of Illinois.

……and what did you procure at Discount Liquor in West Allis today. I am not stalking. I was sitting in the elevated office and I thought I saw you at the registers about 12:30. I was in a meeting otherwise I would have said hello.
Peonies for 4,500, it could happen.
I have only used Two Men and a Truck. They were most excellent.
06/01/2016 at 5:08 pm #2049993Our shiitake mushroom log actually sprouted three nice shrooms the other day. We thought it was destined for the firepit. Made one meal last night, will do a different dish tomorrow. We wonder if we’ll get more. They literally seemed to appear overnight after sitting out there two years post-inoculation.

06/01/2016 at 7:45 pm #2049999Cute! We have a couple of nests around here. I think one is on her second brood, actually.
06/01/2016 at 8:52 pm #2050000The 2nd batch of house finches are getting big! Something robbed the first 4 eggs. After a few weeks, they tried again…with success!
