MemberStrawberries are ripening here. Washburn dodged the big storm last night, but the Northland didn’t. Still a lot of people in Minnesota and NW Wisco without power.
I’d Rather Be Lost Geocaching, Than Found At Home!

ParticipantWe are moved – in the new digs – my daughter came over the weekend and helped me unpack about a zillion boxes – so it actually looks somewhat presentable. Waiting to understand what a new normal looks like….so strange after 30 years in Appleton – to be in a different place….
Looking for friends in the area….

MemberHad a great Father’s Day. I did, in fact, stop at GC1C15 for the first cache of the day, great cache location and a great climb to get to it!
Then it was off to a hit and miss series of AT caches (HP2 will understand the reference) that were either there or very much not there. Most were unfound since 2012, talk about mega lonely cache game points! I need to check when I’m at work tomorrow, but I think I passed the 3000 point mark for Dr AwDwArD’s lonely cache challenges, although I don’t know when I’d ever get north to find those two. Spent about five hours cache and made it back in time for afternoon with the family – nothing special to celebrate, just doing yard work and such.
Hey, we live in the high desert, and we’re still in a drought (although we’ve had rain this past week and throughout the last month) and the mosquitos are as bad as back in WI, except they come out in the middle of the day and like biting when you’re in the sun working in the garden. Not cool!
The best sig is no sig.
