May be changing vacation plans. We were going to the NW part of the state, but maybe Door County would be a better call.

Meetcha at Penninsula SP next week 🙂 And you got all those cool Door Co. gadget caches…and the giant smiley!

4:45 am The Robins are singing. Or should I say “chirping?”

Those robins must be teaching my dog what to do. She’s decided this summer to get up with the first hint of light outside.

Just wait-soon the crickets will be chirping along with the robins 😉

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

I heard cicadas cuing up yesterday.

So…. the Murphy women in my family have all been horsewomen at some point.  I rode Western for a bit in college.  Mom competed English style in her 20s.  Neither of us has ridden since those days.  My cousin has her own horse and still rides.  I was talking with Mom about this, and she said…”I’d like to ride a horse again.”

After getting a recommendation from my cousin, it’s been decided that for Mom’s 92nd and my 63rd birthdays, we’ll do a trail ride together at this stable sometime in September.  Mom approves of this plan!

Appeal denied. Hard wrapping my head around it, but GC doesn’t want to keep a cache around from ’01.

FTP for Friday the 15th of July!

Over $2Million of road damage estimated in just Bayfield County! I posted road closures in the forum about Northern WI.
Traveling to Fond du Lac tomorrow via Hayward, but it appears the Namekagon River and other tributes are flooding some areas now. Sounds like a new cache series to me!

Nope, but this might be the second to last.
