I saw Mickey and a bunch of pirates. I hope the Bash and Breakfast were fun. I have requested for vacation in order to go to the fall picnic, but it has not been approved….yet. I hope there is still some WGA swag left to purchase.
We saved some just for you.

08/16/2016 at 10:53 am #2051215I’m up to 1400 miles on Baa Baa (which I’ve decided to call the loaner, since it is a black Jeep).
Awesome. Baa Baa Black Jeep. Yeah, I think Robert Conrad starred in that.

08/16/2016 at 6:14 pm #2051216Birdin, we went through the Tetons and Yellowstone today. Took us 20 minutes at 9:20 am to get through the south gate. Only saw 1 bison way out in a meadow and about 10,000 people. We were out of there by 12:30. West Thumb was a big disappointment as the geyser activity is way down, mostly just empty craters. It was so active in 1986. Old Faithful area has really changed. More parking and more buildings. You can no longer see the geyser between buildings like you could before. We only did the south and west side of the park as we were headed to Bozeman to visit family. Fire on the north side today. Also, it’s 91 degrees in Bozeman … BOOOO!

08/17/2016 at 7:08 am #2051227A little over 5 weeks until the Fall Picnic!
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

08/17/2016 at 9:47 am #2051236Last StandUpPaddleboard yoga of the season last night, and it was truly sublime. Calm lake and the full moon greeting us as we paddled back to the landing after our practice. To cap it off, one of the yogis brought beer. Leinie’s Grapefruit Shandy was perfect after that….and I usually don’t like shandies!
Next week, I’m picking up my very own paddleboard so the fun can go on a bit longer!

All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
08/18/2016 at 6:54 pm #2051252Got about 40 cache containers ready for hiding today. No immediate hiding plans. Just something to pass the time during my middle day of chemo while I have to sit at home connected to a portable pump.
08/18/2016 at 6:55 pm #2051254Where are the “sandlanders”?

This weekend I heard they have been a lot of IAT caches.

08/18/2016 at 9:48 pm #2051256Still in the 90s here, but at least I’m not getting mauled by mosquitoes in the middle of the day now. We watered the lawn all day, so they may be back with a vengeance tomorrow.
Got the new bell schedule from our principal through email. The heading for each day of the week is wrong – Monday‘s instead of Mondays. I wonder how many copies he ordered for everyone to pass out to students on day one.
Over halfway to level 22 on Pokemon Go. Placing more caches than finding this summer, but I haven’t placed many either. Too hot and not much spending money after getting all the animals cared for.
Need to go back to Medford on Tuesday to get the kids’ annual heart checkup. Pretty sure any caching will be rejected out of hand, but you never know.
