      Note to self: do whatever it takes to avoid having a home sporting event on the first day of school. 14 hour days make for longer days to follow. Would’ve been better if the girls would’ve won their match, but we were playing a team two divisions above us…

                    Rain, rain go away! We are going to need some serious drying out here or we won’t be taking our Yellowstone trip. Our heavy clay soil, despite all our work to limit flooding, just can’t deal with much more than a quarter inch of rain before we have to bail now. 🙁 We’ll check the forecast as this week moves along and decide whether to cancel our reservations by then. I’m sure we can find something else fun to do for a shorter time closer to home if that happens.
