FTP for Thursday the 22nd.
09/22/2016 at 8:23 am #2051659Is isn’t neilsville in Clark county? They’ve declared a state of emergency. There’s a house blocking the River Road south of LaCrosse. Thirty miles of the River Road are closed north of LaCrosse due to mudslides. It’s a mess in the southwest. Rain just now stopped.
09/22/2016 at 4:24 pm #2051664Everyone connected to other cachers on social media or in person, October is Homecoming month. Tell them to revisit the WGA site and post a new topic or comment on an existing one, or even just check in with the thread stealers. That goes for new members too. And no need to wait until October either!

That’s awesome advice amita17!
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

09/23/2016 at 12:12 am #2051668I blame my ex-wife for the flooding near LaCrosse: she just returned yesterday from there on her 1st motorcycle trip with her boyfriend and she bought a new rainsuit before leaving.
09/23/2016 at 2:42 pm #2051671I shouldn’t laugh, but that was funny, Brewce!
So our Yellowstone trip was scrapped, we’re heading up to L’Anse and then Pictured Rocks this week. I remembered seeing reports of a rare bird in Munising, a Crested Caracara. Way out of range, it’s a Mexican border type. Checked this morning and it’s still being seen. Hoping I can add my sighting in the next few days!
Hopefully the drying of the last 24 hours here will make tomorrow’s picnic more fun for those going. Have fun and bring bug spray and footwear that can get wet! Jackson county is one of those under-rated caching areas, in our opinion. Hopefully conditions allow those who are experiencing it for the first time to discover that for themselves. Wolves, porkies, Whooping Cranes…..I’ve been able to photograph all of those while we explored the wetlands, trails and mounds in the area.
09/23/2016 at 7:10 pm #2051673Enjoy the picnic tomorrow. I wish everyone safe travels and hope for good weather.
09/24/2016 at 4:12 am #2051674FTP for WGA Picnic Saturday.

09/25/2016 at 2:45 am #2051679Hey! Three in a row!
FTP for Sunday!
09/25/2016 at 10:45 am #2051680Quiet day yesterday. Great condition at BRSF. Park staff were awesome and while the trails and grounds were wet, evreything was in good condition.

09/25/2016 at 3:48 pm #2051681Just now getting rain here today–the kind you want when you need a good soaker, not what we need now at all. Oh, and :13:
09/25/2016 at 4:06 pm #2051688It is starting to rumble here.
I have not found a cache in 70 days.
I have now collected 124 Pokemon.
09/25/2016 at 8:23 pm #2051691I have not collected a single pokemon.
