FTP for Sunday the 20th.
11/20/2016 at 10:56 pm #2052376We had enough snow to cover the ground lightly on Sat. morning. Did that make the hunters happy or do they need more?
11/21/2016 at 8:57 am #2052377FTP for Monday.
Snow is OK. Wind…NO!
11/21/2016 at 1:57 pm #2052383Remember me? If anyone needs some deer, this is the place to stop. Rut is hitting so there are big deer roaming all over the place. Our gun season ended a few weeks ago though.

11/21/2016 at 3:28 pm #2052384I was just wondering what had happened to you. Glad to see you’re still around!
11/21/2016 at 6:07 pm #2052385Aside from of all the stress and hustle and bustle this time of year, it’s my favorite season. My Dad and my two brothers would always head out to put some food on the table during this week and us girls (Mom and my two sisters) would get ready for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Friday night was always Swanson Pot Pies with our initials poked into the crusts of our favorite one. Saturday was Mom’s tomato soup with dumplings and grilled cheese sandwiches. Mom was the planner and had all sorts of tasks for us girls this week and it was always fun. We always waited anxiously to see who would bring home a deer on Sunday. Some years were better than others but the memories are the best!
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

I remember you. Weren’t you the guy who ran for the State Assembly a few years back?

If you watch the video, anytime you see that row of tall pines in the background….Wisconsin Roadside Weirdness Challenge’s container is hanging in one of them. This was pretty amazing to watch. Kind of makes up for the fact that the big eyeball isn’t sitting there now.

11/23/2016 at 10:16 pm #2052398Local news story from Auburndale. Some of you may recognize Jordan and Jared.
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
11/23/2016 at 10:31 pm #2052399What a cool story, especially since Jordan was a big part of finding the solution. Thanks for sharing it!
