What’s the word on a new kitty, jar42?  Our last cat came from the Adams County animal shelter back in 1997.  She was well on in years and we had her for her last four, almost.  The shelter lied, though.  “Lovable lap cat.”  She hated to be held and didn’t care for us much.  Perhaps she didn’t like that we renamed her “Sandy”.  She also stalked our other cat who, like your Daisy, had been left an only child.

We have been cat-free for over 15 years now.

      Good morning.

The kitty choice will be made Thursday, it’s down to one (or two) of three 3yr old males.

Waukesha County Humane Society has a “barn cat” program. These are not cats suitable as indoor pets. You provide an outdoor shelter and food for the first week and then hope they stick around. If they do you get free chipmunk and rodent control. All of these cats have been “fixed” and micro chipped. Thinking about getting one of these chipmunk killers in spring.

        What’s wrong with this picture?

I went to the basement to put away various items, carrying my coffee with me.  I can find a tiny bison tube tucked out of sight into a crevice in a tree, but can’t find the stupid coffee?????

Yes, I expanded my search area.

Did you look inside boxes, cupboards, or closets where you were putting things away?  Or maybe you’re were interrupted to take a phone call or answer the door and got sidetracked?

Guess it’s too late to reduce my new cache notification radius from 50 miles to 45 or less… 😕

Looks like the Geo-Art hit the locals hard! But the locals have a greater shot at FTF’s! Cache on!

I lost my coffee this morning in quite the same way because I changed up my routine. It ended up being on the kitchen counter . . .

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

We found it.  I just needed to expand my search in a different direction! 😉
