      Oh, I blew that one, didn’t I?

      So our son just stopped by.  I guess he and his daughter were doing things all day with her little friend.  When he brought her little friend back to her house, Aizy was invited to have a sleepover there.  Since she was packed for a sleepover at Grandma and Grandpa’s…..I’m kind of bummed!

        When I took the dog for that long walk this afternoon, I saw something I’ve never seen around  here….a little red squirrel.  There was a large flock of juncoes and tree sparrows, but I heard an odd chirp and realized….I’ve heard those.  More up north.  Then I saw the darn thing.  We just have the gray squirrels, or around here, they’re often black.  Wonder where it wandered in from?

                How’s the craphas around the state?  I think it is funny my phone gives craphas as one of the first three smart spelling options for c-r-a-p.  And I don’t believe I have typed it here before today!

                    It was very pretty this morning in the Driftless, but now it’s slopping off the branches and melting into the ground a little bit.

                      FTP for Monday the 5th!

                      Lost a tree branch from heavy snow yesterday. Of course, it fell across the driveway. Could just drag it out of the way.
