Snow??? What little we had melted…so much for living near the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field. Maybe tomorrow. If the weatherman is right, I’ll be going into hibernation shortly…oh, wait…I already am. Never mind 🙂

12/06/2016 at 1:48 pm #2052596I finally saw some swans migrating east this morning. Usually see them during gun deer season. Just a bit later this year.

The buck stops here. . .and gets entered into Where's George.
Where's George? Stimulating the economy one EMS'ed dollar at a time.
12/06/2016 at 6:07 pm #2052603We have a Christmas tree! Nothing on it yet, but it’s in the house.
Usually we cut them, but it was so freaking cold and windy, it was worth the extra five bucks to get one they’d already cut. As it was, we had to stop three times on the five mile trip home to readjust it. It was tied tight, but those crosswinds across the fields can push it right over.
12/06/2016 at 8:33 pm #2052605Last night I took the girls to get a tree. Our favorite tree lot only had 6 Charlie Brown trees left after the weekend. It appears this will be the first year since my wife and I had children we will be getting a tree without them. Last night was the only night in the next 10 we were all available.
On Topic: Is anyone planning a Puzzle Tour Seminar for the new WGA geo art? Or where can I get the spreadsheet of solutions? Oh……….the good old days.
Impressive undertaking board. It looks amazing. Unfortunately, there is only so much sand in the hourglass.

12/07/2016 at 9:39 am #2052608Hey! There’s no naughty list this year!!! Does that mean Santa’s visiting me this season? 🙂

12/07/2016 at 10:29 am #2052609Time will tell, bartrod. You might be permanently on that list, so no need to keep reminding you. [;)]
I will prepare to do battle with the tree lights soon. Once that’s over, the tree thing should be more fun. I’m logging a few of the bazillion geoart finds each day. We completed the series, but now I’m taking my cue from BigJim, who lives close enough to get just a few each day after work, and logging just a few each day before doing something else. Power caching “ain’t” for us. Hopefully Trekkin’ will remember this. We did some about three years back and said…”no more.” He just like this geoart. [:D]
12/07/2016 at 5:14 pm #2052610Took today off of park-n-grabbing to get some other things done. I’ve got the remaining caches divided into 5 sections that I can cover in about an hour each. I’m in no hurry. I showed the geoart to the 4th grade social studies teacher, especially the ones with the County puzzles. She was pretty excited about the possibility of using the puzzles to teach about the counties.
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.

That’s pretty awesome!
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

12/07/2016 at 7:11 pm #2052612Heck, the kids could solve those puzzles and as close as you are, maybe they could take a field trip to find them in the spring! Trekkin’ did a lot of stuff with one of the 7th grade teams, helping the teachers find ways to apply geocaching to several subject areas.
12/07/2016 at 7:13 pm #2052613And here’s :13:
Write this one down. I think I’m going to haul my butt to the neighborhood clinic tomorrow. I’ve had this head/throat/chest crud that comes and goes, and it’s still not giving up the ghost. I almost never go to the doctor. Almost never have to. Unless I slip and break my humerus geocaching. Then I kind of have to go to the doctor. Hard to believe that was almost four years ago.
12/08/2016 at 7:43 am #2052618FTP for Thursday the 8th.

That is totally awesome. Maybe it will spark interest in some student who “just isn’t interested”

You should get some pointers from that Wizard of OC guy who’s on the Extra Nice list this year… 😉 Maybe then Santa will visit you, bartrod!
