We’ve got about 3″ of craphas here East of Sandland, as it’s just starting to rain I guess I’ll be leaving it alone for now.

My moccasins where not the proper choice of shoes for the day. My socks and feet have turned brown and am sitting at my desk at work barefoot haha.

        Well, that was fun….not!

I started my morning just fine, with a great yoga practice.  Luckily, it was at the studio in town, not the one on LaCrosse’s northside, because I went out to my car and…..no juice.  This happened a couple weeks back but we got it charged up and all’s been fine.  Well, the car is over 7 years old with the original battery, should not come as a big surprise.

Then began the back and forth with roadside service, the garage to get a new one, yada yada.  Early dismissal from school for the kids, so that added another layer of interest.  Our son came into town to get Pooh’s Pal, who was having a blast building a snowfort, but stopped to give me a jump so I didn’t have to sit and wait forever in the coffee shop for the roadside guys.  Drove to the dealership and was out of there in less than 30 minutes, since they had so many cancellations.

Lots of sitting around and not getting much done, but it could have been way worse.  Lots of thick sloppy snow and awful roads here.

FTP for Hump Day the 11th.

Saw plenty of runoffs yesterday while putting on 300 work miles and never left the county!

I’m so jealous that bartrod is going to Hawaii next month.  Please send back warm weather when you return.

I know it’s been a few days since I’ve posted in here, but I booked a trip to Saint Louis in August and am looking for recommended caches down there.

Hear you on the car troubles. Was having coolant system issues back before xmas. Last night finally got around to doing the work and getting the water pump and thermostat replaced and all…….and this morning the lights pop back on……..Got a couple ideas but UGH!! Cars

I know…..I once got stuck in a muddy uphill Amish driveway and had to put the vehicle we had at that time into 4wd to get out.  My Amish friends were watching with amusement and I stuck my head out the window to say….”Probably I should just get a horse, right?”  They laughed and said…”We have to given them a kick every now and then, too!”

So I guess a horse isn’t the answer.  I have my first major repair coming up, too, but we’re holding off since it just makes for a bumpier ride and no safety concerns.

It would be cool to ride a horse into LaCrosse, tie it to a post and then go to yoga.  Don’t have a horse of my own, though.

Like dogs, cats and kids, a horse needs daily attention.  Stick to a car.

Delivered Juice to my favorite football team today.

I met Randy Moss .   I told him I was tempted to moon him for old times sake. We shared a laugh.  I guess he works for the NFL Network now.  I do like that the press enters through the receiving dock.

The weather must have been nasty that way last eve.   There were quite a few cars in the ditch between Manitowoc and Green Bay on I-43 still waiting to be collected.

I might cache this weekend.  Orat least go somewhere to open the shutter on the camera a few times.  I see the Ice Castle opens Friday.

I especially liked Sandlanders’ article about how they hiked the entire Ice Age Trail this summer.
