01/19/2017 at 7:34 am #2053278Everyone got their ice removed from their properties just in time for the next round tonight?
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

No ! Got my drive about 3/4 cleared and my sisters about 1/3 done. Spots in the shade of the garages have an inch and a half of good solid ice yet.
01/19/2017 at 6:38 pm #2053291Ours is all clear. Also, a good part of my last day on the Habitat house (it gets dedicated and handed over to the partner family on Saturday) involved chopping ice. One of the guys installing gutters looked like Aaron Rodgers…that was a little disconcerting!
After this, I’m “laid off” until they can put in the concrete footings for the next house. Whatever will I do with my Thursdays until then?????

Mr. Evil had to chisel out a trench in the ice so the melt would go to the road instead of pooling on the sidewalk 🙁

That’s awesome, cool, and too much extra time on your hands all at the same time 🙂

01/21/2017 at 5:03 am #2053300Above freezing temps, rain, fog deteriorating ice conditions. What more could you want to start out Wisconsin’s free ice fishing weekend? Good luck and be safe to all those who venture out!
01/21/2017 at 6:25 pm #2053301:13: hours since the last post.
01/21/2017 at 9:02 pm #2053302Snow is melting off the roof. Starting to see gravel through the ice on the driveway. I’ll have to get the lawnmower out soon.
