We’ve already got tickets to see Charlie Daniels with friends next summer.I saw him in concert in 1994 in Longmont, CO. He put on a great show, lots of energy. And he’s so amazing on the fiddle!
I saw him at UWSP in 1983 or 84. He lived in Point when he was a kid, as his mom was a professor there.
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
01/10/2015 at 9:22 am #2033464Yoga was great, Trekkin’ was leaving for the Winter Fest at the KVR as I was getting home. Now I’m heading back out to see about a cool bird in Ettrick. Back in time for my second session of yoga assisting. That’s my day today!
Have fun hiding your caches, Becca. We look forward to seeing what you’ve discovered up that way!

01/10/2015 at 6:36 pm #2033481I was supposed to see him, Marshall Tucker, Nitty Gritty Dirt band, I think, when I was in grad school at UWSP. Summer music festival which got cancelled for some reason. That would have been around 79.
and…I think hell hath frozen over. Trekkin had a great time at KVR today and suggested we skip the Packer game and go there again tomorrow to explore some more of the ice caves. :O
01/10/2015 at 6:37 pm #2033482Professor of what? Charlie Daniels’ mom, that is?

The little Mexican kids next door had a mini yard sale set up along the side of the street. One of their chickens was in our backyard when we got home. The dogs chased it around a little until they realized it was bigger than both of them, combined. Then they backed off and watched it until it flew back over the fence.
