I just put out a cache today, now I just wait until it’s published.

The buck stops here. . .and gets entered into Where's George.

Looks like rain is coming, but I was able to walk to yoga and back, with a couple stops to visit with folks along my way home.  Looks like a good day to work on my current sewing project.

Walked another 3.1 miles on our 2017 IAT adventure this morning.  Should be at Rocky Arbor SP in another three walks.  Now I am doing laundry and hoping the rain holds off another hour until a friend and I can dig up a few perennials at another friend’s house.

But all I really want to do is curl up with a book right now…

In the old days when the drivel ran four pages in a day instead of one page in four days, you would have had that FTP on your birthday, amita.  All is well now.

Has anyone here traveled on Amtrak lately?  I’m hoping to take a trip to New Mexico (cannot for the life of me spell the capital city!) and looked the the route for the Southwest Chief.  They show stations along the way.  Do they stop at those named stations?  And if so….does anyone here know if there are bookmark lists anywhere of caches close to Amtrak stops?  😀

You’ve come to the right place my friend.  I’ve traveled on Amtrak twice and will again in August.  Yes, they do stop at all those stations.  However, they only stop long enough at most of the stations long enough to drop off passengers and pick up new ones – they have a schedule to keep.

Today I was helping the Habitat construction manager with odd jobs, one of which was to haul huge stacks of foam board insulation from the delivery spot at the ReStore to storage.  While at the Restore, one of the volunteers helping at the loading dock looked at me funny.  I looked at him funny.  He is the grown up version of a student I had when he was in elementary school! Looks the same, too, except he’s taller and has a goatee now.  One of those fun unexpected moments in daily life!

Are the reviewers off this week?  The last new cache was published Friday, and I put one out Monday with no word on that yet.  Anywho, I’m glad they’re getting some time off because they’re cachers and reviewers at the same time, as well as having their own lives.

The reviewers have up to 2 weeks to review new submissions. We’re spoiled because it is usually less than that. They also alternate weeks. This week is the Green Bay reviewer. Maybe you should go knock on her door.
