My pet peeve of the day….

Help me understand if maybe I’m missing some complication or something.  Someone posts something they did on facebook related to geocaching yesterday.  Invariably someone asks for a gc link.  If that’s wanted, can’t they go to our profile and see what we did yesterday to find it themselves?

The geocaching website is all wonky today, so I sure don’t want to go there!  I’m just trying to understand why others might need that code provided by us.  We did a series.  They all have the same name.  It’s all we did.  If you can get the gc site to work, it’s easy to see what we did yesterday.  Am I correct???  I suppose we could be nice and just provide it when making the post, but neither my brain nor Trekkin’s works that way if we decide to post it somewhere online.

    I’m done.

You’re right, a couple of mouse clicks and they could’ve had the information themselves. Time now for that next cup of coffee, right?  Steve

Got my souvenir for pulling garlic mustard Saturday… but it’s not a piece of electronic art. Just got back from the clinic where they pulled a tick head from just below my armpit and sent me home with a dose of antibiotics. No good deed…

What happened to the rest of the tick?

I have my own pet peeves with what other cachers do.  I already covered this in the general forum in the “How Current Are You” thread.

The buck stops here. . .and gets entered into Where's George.

That was the part that Mr. Sandlanders was able to remove.  It went down the drain.  Needed someone with fine motors skills and medical training to get the head out.  Luckily, I was OK with the NP and didn’t need a surgeon… 😯  😉

Glad they could get that stinker out for you!  We had our son at the clinic once when one had really dug in behind his ear (after a church hayride).  He was really a tough little guy; the doctor and nurse kept looking at me and wincing as they worked on it.

        FTP for a tickless Tuesday!

        #2054917

Yesterday I went caching for the first time this year and it didn’t occur to me until this morning what was missing, BUGS.

Looking at all the water standing in central Wisconsin I can’t believe that will last for long.

Oh and I encountered my first roadwork flagman, Adams Co. was TP’ing Hwy. 21.

I like tickless Tuesday, since I’m usually the tick magnet in my group.

I sometimes wonder if Lyme’s wasn’t at least partially responsible for my arthritis issues…and early onset dementia…and growing old. LOL 🙂

All of those things can clearly be blamed on your age, even though you can be the tick magnet next time we cache together.

Happy Birthday, Mister Greenthumb!  (Perhaps he can get this upcoming FTP to celebrate the occasion.)
