Now would be a good time to begin asking questions for the candidates in the Candidate’s Corner forum

I’m exhausted! We went to Kinnickinnic today to get all the new Spike caches and a few others we missed last summer.   Just a word of advice for anyone who might head there….one cache, “Hidden Trail to the Mixing Bowl” has an additional waypoint to a point of interest.  Go see it.  You won’t be sorry.

Good to know.  We head to MN all the time, I hope to visit Kinnikinic (I can’t spell it) again.  My son told me that he thought the view at the overlook there was as good as any in hawaii or colorado.  I’m not sure I quite agree with him but will concede that it’s a great view!

My daughter is writing about her favorite restaurant. The directions say in “Klamath Falls or Medford”. She hasn’t been to either to eat. She is writing about Mickey Lus!  We needed prices so I called (still have the number in my phone). Just beat closing time.

Double cheeseburger is $4.20. Wish we could get one delivered. And a Brothers 3 pizza.  And some Thai Cuisine. And a perch fry.

Really sad news on Facebook this morning.

I could not comprehend what I was reading, BBG.  Our good friend from these posts, Vegas Gamblers (John Hess), died last night after hitting his head in a fall.  He had lost his wife Sharon almost two years ago, and he had since met someone who gave him great joy.  They were moving on with their lives together when this terrible thing happened.

Tears.  Lot of tears here.

I’m just plain stunned.  John was a great and tough guy.  I remember well the morning we all met up at OshVegas and can’t believe how the world has changed.
