I was *this* close to taking a drive to Faribault to see a bird this morning, but decided to be an adult and get a couple things done that needed to be done.  Glad I made that choice….no one’s seen it today.

That doesn’t mean I wasn’t up at 5:30 to join others for the bird walk, though.  This weekend is full of birding stuff, though I’ll take a break Saturday morning to watch my grand-daughter’s first soccer game.  First….I was a soccer mom.  Now….I am a soccer grandma!

I definitely am. But, my tent is at one of the hotels nearby. How cool is it that Outdoor Wisconsin will be at the breakfast?
