It is very cool that Outdoor Wisconsin will be there for the breakfast. We are all gonna be celebrities! Now we will have to dodge the paparazzi when we are geocaching! As if muggles weren’t bad enough in some areas!

Two First To Posts on consecutive posts?  This should not be allowed to happen.  Thankfully I’m back from my weekend up north.  Now to log my find from today.

Had a full-on weekend of birding, with a break for a couple hours on Saturday to watch my granddaughter’s soccer game.  Camped by myself at Wyalusing on Saturday.  101 different birds spotted there on Sunday.  I also hiked a trail there I’d never hiked before, and will have to return sometime with the regular lens on my camera.  I was loaded for bird photos (of which I took very few, actually).

              🙂

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

We are in the calm before the storm here in East Sandland. It’s dead calm out but the booming of thunder off to the West can be heard. One of the new cats is already in hiding, the other is still going from window to window hunting the birds at the various feeders.

All I’ll say is I made a sneak attack on Oconto today.  I went undetected by the local cachers up there, but I managed to find one cache.

I found 2 of 3 caches in Rib Mountain State Park today, but the thunder and rain chased me away before I could get the third. Visited Big Eau Pleine County Park today too 😉

Been getting lots of logs on one of my personal geocoins…it traveled from Europe to a mega-event in Australia:) Another one of them was placed in a cache featured in FTF Magazine…very cool 🙂

We’re still getting logs on the one TB still active (apparently) that was placed at a Mega in Texas.  “Paddle Faster, I hear banjos.” It’s Trekkin’s worn down first banjo pick and it wants to visit the Banjo Museum in Oklahoma City.  Hopefully someone down in Texas will actually pick it up and move it closer for him.

Every other bug or coin we’ve released is long gone, including Tinky Winky (a purple Teletubbie who loves purses), who vanished in DC years ago.  *smirk*

                          I found a milestone cache yesterday, so I’ll celebrate. . .
