Getting a piece of the double aught page!
06/03/2017 at 8:34 pm #2055312How’d she do in the track meet? Weather held, but we set a new high temp of 97 today, not great weather for athletes.
Tomorrow we make a trip to the Cities. The whole fam damily will be there. We planned this because we thought Dad is hanging on to experience this, but he seems like he’s decided to stick around awhile longer. So it should be just fun, which is great…even though it’ll be a long day. Just up and back, since my sons work Monday and their kids still have one more week of school.
06/03/2017 at 10:44 pm #2055313800 pages of Thread Stealers since the website change.
that’s got to be something to celebrate!!

06/03/2017 at 10:49 pm #2055315I celebrated by going and finding eight caches. I was hoping to make it ten, but one was a tree climber and the other was in a place with a lot of hiding spots. Then I just got thirsty and swallowed two bottles of beer in the span of ten minutes.

Don’t know, I probably won’t hear anything till next I talk with her dad and it’s hard to say when that might be.
06/04/2017 at 6:45 am #2055318Post 8 on 800.
06/04/2017 at 11:47 am #2055319#9 on 800. I get a bonus week watching my son this week while the ex recovers from getting her gall bladder removed. I had planned a geo trip this week to Superior to snag the final 4 state parks which I didn’t get last year, knock off my final 7 WI counties, some waterfalls, and T&B’s 4th Cheesy corner. Amazing how quickly life can spontaneously change one’s plans…
06/04/2017 at 1:47 pm #2055320Brewce, are you from Rhinelander or did you visit there. I gotta love that picture with the hodag in it. Before you go asking because of my name, I’ve always lived in Green Bay. It’s just that I go to the Hodag every year.

06/04/2017 at 11:03 pm #2055325Good Night.
06/05/2017 at 3:09 am #2055326I was in Rhinelander while visiting from Milwaukee last fall. I did try a couple of cool Woodcarverdan gadget caches while up there, but mostly chasing 2001 oldies and counties.
06/05/2017 at 8:40 am #2055327Woodcarver Dan likes to archive his caches if someone reports a wet log. I’m not even kidding.

Dan has told me that he is done with geocaching. He’s leaving his caches out there, but he’s not doing any maintenance any more. If he gets a needs maintenance log on a cache, it’s gone.
