Rained all night and morning here at Lake Wissota SP…same thing happened a couple of weeks ago at Penninsula…just can’t catch a break!
No peacock sightings here though…heard they taste like chicken??! 🙂Oconto...the birthplace of western civilization:)
07/26/2017 at 1:25 pm #2055781The only thing I’ve ever had that tastes like chicken is chicken.
The buck stops here. . .and gets entered into Where's George.
Where's George? Stimulating the economy one EMS'ed dollar at a time.
07/26/2017 at 2:22 pm #2055782I’ve heard that the Lake Wissota peacocks are especially difficult to see in the rain.
07/26/2017 at 4:49 pm #2055783That’s why we’re foregoing grilling this evening…there’s a restaurant just down the road…probably don’t have it on their menu though:)

07/27/2017 at 7:17 am #2055786FTP 🙂 Wake up everyone!
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

07/27/2017 at 7:23 am #2055787The last time I went to the zoo, there were peacocks walking around everywhere. I don’t remember seeing that many there before, it was kind of cool.

07/27/2017 at 7:34 am #2055788While searching for a cache at a petting zoo last Saturday during the Oconomowoc Area Historical Tour (OAHT) geocaching event, I had a peacock chasing after me. It seemed more curious or hungry than threatening; my teammates got a good laugh from it.
07/27/2017 at 9:35 am #2055789Went all the way to Swift Current, Saskatchewan and some friends asked if we’d care to take a travel bug back to the states? The TB turned out to be Pixiestix13’s Brewery Tour TB. Small world indeed.
07/27/2017 at 12:04 pm #2055790Thanks for picking it up! Can’t wait to see where it ends up next! 🙂

07/27/2017 at 3:00 pm #2055791The new launch date is Aug. 10. I will either have a good story to tell at the Cache Ba$h, or the same story to tell at the Cache Ba$h.
07/27/2017 at 9:02 pm #2055792Well, I’m one step closer to being a full-fledged WGA member again. They accepted our offer on the house. Just over two weeks before the current house get appraised so we can sell (seriously, I’ve been waiting over a month for an appraisal on property worth over $300,000 so the buyer can take out a $60,000 loan). Then it’s a matter of getting our stuff there after we close on that house.
1782 Cypress Ave – for those of you in Sandland. Look for a TB Hotel to open up soon (assuming the cache at the cemetery is .1 away from the driveway).
Anyone know a math teacher looking for a job in a nice, small Oregon town? They can’t find anyone to replace me. I hate doing this to “my kids” by my real kids take precedent.
