Apparently you need to get up pretty early to get the first to post.

The buck stops here. . .and gets entered into Where's George.

One of my new shelter cats used to think that first call for breakfast came at 3am. He is getting better, I can live with 4am but 5:30 is a bit more restful.

I feel your pain! I used to feed one of our cats at roughly 7:30 in the morning and then when we moved, Mr. Evil started feeding him at 3:30. That was not fun on the weekends. Thankfully now, we have two cats that like to graze throughout the day and have no real set food times.

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

I’m getting bored of staring at my feet…only one of which I can see clearly. Sigh šŸ™

Hasn’t it spotted that big juicy peacock yet? That would hold it’s hunger over for a while if it could catch it! šŸ™‚

Hey Rod, wasn’t it nice barely being able to see both feet at once?

Finally got that load of laundry done, now I just need to get my suitcase packed for tomorrow morning.Ā  My bus to Milwaukee leaves bright and early at 6 in the morning, I always worry about not making it there in time or sleeping in or some such thing.Ā  From Milwaukee I’ll be catching the train to take me the rest of the way down to Saint Louis.

Well that was fun. If you don’t know Wisconsin Geocaching Association’s name after that, I don’t know what to say.

We visited the Little Chute windmill today. Awesome. Fascinating. I told my co-worker, well, you know how the local saying goes…”If you ain’t Dutch, you ain’t much.” She told me she was a little German and a little Dutch. I told her she was a little much. šŸ˜‰
