Time to don the blaze orange cap and vests as trophy bucks and turkey pics are filling up my FB feeds as the archery deer and turkey hunting seasons began last week.

After throwing atlatls at the buffalo jump in Wyoming, Trekkin’s looking at buying a couple.  Is there a hunting season for those? [;)]  Kind of like archery!

Good luck….he just does muzzle loader season and hasn’t done turkey in ages.

Argh. I forgot about hunting season. Out west people just sort of drive around and look for deer off in the distance and then pull over to get a shot at them. I can’t think of a single cache that had a warning about hunting season out there.

Going to be a gorgeous weekend for camping in Door County . . .

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Headed to DC in WI in the PM with my BFF hopefully ASAP.  Ran a PQ on a PC via GSAK for about 100 GC near GZ of the WGA.  TTYL.

Crossing fingers that there may be 15 new caches at the Picnic . . . 🙂

I kinda forgot about the picnic being this weekend.  Have fun everyone, I hope it stays dry for y’all.

Hope everyone is having a good (hot, humid) campout weekend. Wish we could be there, but this is our last weekend of living in Marinette while I’m working in Adams. Moving into our house next weekend!

I’m looking at my unfound in the M&M area caches, and I have the infamous Mission Impossible series Final left. All but one caches in the series are either disabled or archived. I found them all but L6 (penultimate) – that was archived and has the information helpfully (?) listed on the archived cache’s page. However, the information from the other five are on my dead old phone (along with many hours of puzzle cache finds). I’ve written the CO for the final coords, but they haven’t been online in two years. Does anyone have them to pass along to me. There’s a TB listed in the cache that’s been stuck there for two years. The dummy coordinates are on Stephenson Island, but it isn’t lonely enough yet to be on the LCG list. Hoping to get to it today to see if it is actually still there or fit for archive like the rest.

I think you might hear back from them. Be patient…the FF4 are now the FF5. You know how those priorities can effect caching.

I had a great time at the picnic yesterday. I even won this cool coin!
