11/03/2017 at 6:06 pm #2056672So I’m just under a month short of turning 38 and I just bought pillows for the first time. Believe it or not, the pillows I had before survived since I was in middle school in the mid 90’s, and those were pillows my mom bought way back then.

11/04/2017 at 7:16 am #2056673Good morning everyone!! It’s Saturday. Enjoy your day. FTP 2 days in a row 🙂
11/04/2017 at 8:42 am #2056674No GIFF event for us..closest is a couple hours one way and the weather’s lousy. Probably a blessing in disguise…our old dog rebounded, but now her ability to “hold it” is failing and we need to be around to try and get her outside. Two accidents already today. Doggie diapers don’t stay on her. She still wants to do dog stuff, though. Sad situation.

11/04/2017 at 9:04 am #2056676Okay, so not only it is taking forever here, but it doubled my post. I know I didn’t do that!
11/05/2017 at 7:17 am #2056680FTP for Horicon GIFF Sunday!
11/05/2017 at 2:31 pm #2056681We thought we’d deal with this crummy weather by finally beginning the process of home brewing this afternoon. Only bought the supplies and stout kit ages ago. Well….not happening. The one place near us with propane tanks was mobbed. Trekkin’ didn’t feel like dragging a tank to Best Buy, where he could get closest parking. Or waiting for anyone to be free to help retrieve a tank from the cage.
Ah well, tomorrow is another day. At least we got our little propane fryer thing put together and gathered up the supplies.
Time to go do a couple crosswords.

So you’re just doing stout right now, or are you doing more?

11/06/2017 at 7:14 am #2056683FTP for Packer Game Day November 6th!
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

Just the stout for now. When we bought all this stuff at the brewing supply place, they told us stout was most likely to provide the most first timer’s success. We have our propane tank now, but I had a newsletter to get out and likely a grandkid here shortly. We’d like to venture into IPAs, as those are favorites, but if this turns out decent…we’ll drink it. 😀
We brew tomorrow!

We brew tomorrow! I’m generally a fan of stouts and porters, and was pleasantly suprised to find out how many different varieties there are of just those two. Can I be your taste tester?
