FTP for Sunday the 26th, the last day of Gun Deer Hunting. Of course, there is still the B season, and the other 4 day hunt, and the XYZ hunt, etc.
11/26/2017 at 9:37 pm #2056829Wife changed her mind about needing to get things from my dad’s house this weekend, so I didn’t get to check on the lonely cache in GB, but I did manage to get one within 25 miles from home today. I sure moved into a honey hole of lonely ones. Just wish I had a way to get two that are T5s due to water crossing.
Can’t believe how nice it was today to be in the woods. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to find it with the fading light, so I checked how warm it was supposed to be next weekend, still great cache hunting forecast then too.
Well, there are still 10 lonelies within an hour of home…

11/27/2017 at 7:07 am #2056831Hope everyone is ready for the day back after a holiday weekend! Any cyber shoppers out there?
I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

11/27/2017 at 10:32 am #2056835I’m not a cyber shopper here. A calendar I bought cost the same online as it does in the store, but I would have had to pay an extra $15 shipping costs on top of that if I would have bought it online. That was the same as the price of the calendar, so I went to the store in town and bought that and something else.

I’m not a big fan of the wind either. Temps are nice but usually it’s this windy in October.

Cloudy days like today will do that to you.

11/29/2017 at 1:44 pm #2056869I didn’t get the First to post for today, but it looks like there’s an FTF to be had in Green Bay. That one’s close to home, but I think I’ll save it for the New Year’s souvenirs.
