Where on god’s green Earth was everybody this fine Tuesday?  Are we really not allowed to post when it’s light out?  Are we just out caching?  I could really wait a few minutes to get the first to post on Wednesday, but I’m afraid there will be an even bigger gap between my post and the next one.

We didn’t get the 6-7 inches predicted in Menasha…not yet anyway. It’s still snowing after a midmorning break.

We got about six inches of craphas so far in Green Bay, and there might be more coming.  I was supposed to meet a couple of friends downtown for happy hour, but we decided to postpone that for a later date.

Nothing here but a nasty cold wind.  Early release school day, so I took our grand-daughter over to the FWS Visitor Center to get a look at one of the Snowy Owls that’s been hanging around the area for over a week now.  She might have looked longer if it wasn’t so blasted cold.  As it was, she was happy to wander the displays there, even though she’s seen them all many times.

I got my laundry done today and was able to step out for dinner.  They had my usual order on special today at Culver’s, so that’s what it was.  After making it through bumper to bumper traffic at the several lights I had to go through, it was almost clear sailing the rest of the way except for a couple stupid drivers past that.  After getting there and having my dinner, I made it home in one piece.

I hear Rapids has several inches, but on this side of the county line – still not much accumulation. Hoping for a nice cold spell to do some walking on water…
