And now, back to work after my “use it or lose it” vacation day.
12/12/2017 at 9:50 am #2056993It’s gonna snow tomorrow, so it might be a good day to do laundry.

12/12/2017 at 11:54 pm #2056994Where on god’s green Earth was everybody this fine Tuesday? Are we really not allowed to post when it’s light out? Are we just out caching? I could really wait a few minutes to get the first to post on Wednesday, but I’m afraid there will be an even bigger gap between my post and the next one.

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

12/13/2017 at 7:37 am #2056997Much ado about nothing down here in Sandland as far as weather goes.

12/13/2017 at 3:00 pm #2056999We didn’t get the 6-7 inches predicted in Menasha…not yet anyway. It’s still snowing after a midmorning break.
12/13/2017 at 3:48 pm #2057000We got about six inches of craphas so far in Green Bay, and there might be more coming. I was supposed to meet a couple of friends downtown for happy hour, but we decided to postpone that for a later date.

12/13/2017 at 4:10 pm #2057001Nothing here but a nasty cold wind. Early release school day, so I took our grand-daughter over to the FWS Visitor Center to get a look at one of the Snowy Owls that’s been hanging around the area for over a week now. She might have looked longer if it wasn’t so blasted cold. As it was, she was happy to wander the displays there, even though she’s seen them all many times.
12/13/2017 at 6:19 pm #2057010I got my laundry done today and was able to step out for dinner. They had my usual order on special today at Culver’s, so that’s what it was. After making it through bumper to bumper traffic at the several lights I had to go through, it was almost clear sailing the rest of the way except for a couple stupid drivers past that. After getting there and having my dinner, I made it home in one piece.

12/13/2017 at 6:19 pm #2057011I hear Rapids has several inches, but on this side of the county line – still not much accumulation. Hoping for a nice cold spell to do some walking on water…

12/13/2017 at 6:29 pm #2057014Just an inch or two here. Light fluffy stuff. Haven’t plowed yet, but it shouldn’t take long.
All opinions, comments, and useless drivel I post are mine alone and do not reflect the opinions of the WGA BOD.
12/13/2017 at 7:26 pm #2057016I think I will claim. . .
