I remember listening to the Packers back when their QB was Tobin Rote. Matchups against the likes of Johnny Unitas left little joy in packerland in those days either.
12/24/2017 at 3:19 pm #2057116I grew up in the 80’s and have vague memories of seeing the Packers on TV, but I didn’t start paying attention until I was 12. Anyone wanna guess what year that was? 1992!

Geocaching is not normally a part of my Christmas tradition, but I did find 3 caches on Christmas day in 2011. Daughter was fresh out of college and working nights at the hospital. Son was working in Appleton, so after they both left for the day, Betty and I made a run to Stevens Point for an FTF opportunity.

12/25/2017 at 12:23 pm #2057124I feel sorry for all the children who were ‘shorted’ this Christmas. Apparently Santa dumped most of his load at my grandkids 🙂

12/26/2017 at 1:11 pm #2057127We don’t usually cache on Christmas, either, though it has happened on those years when family Christmas had to be a different day.
Christmas last night was wonderful. Our old dog, for whom this is no doubt her last Christmas, was so happy the whole gang was here. We were all happy to see her like that.
12/27/2017 at 6:01 am #2057129I had to look if I had cached on Christmas, I have one lonely cache on that day ha ha

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.
