FTP Happy Saturday Have fun at the Hot Doggy/ Chili Feed and LCG Event in Fondy.
I’ll be busy with volunteering from 10:30 am – 5 pm for the local Book Across the Bay Event of XC skiing, Snowshoeing, walking — across Chequamegon Bay from Ashland to Washburn, 10km, illuminated by 1000 ice candles. The 22nd Annual Event! In the past I’ve had events the day before and the day of, but not this year. Maybe next?

You admit to drinking that flavor of water? That’s fine, but I prefer to eat my rice.

02/19/2018 at 11:19 am #2058019The North is all about SNOW yesterday, today, and tomorrow. I’ll take snow over ice any day. Blowing here in Washburn with NE winds, so we have had about 7-8 inches so far and drifting with the wind. It’s nice to have the Olympics to watch while waiting for the snow and wind to stop!

I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.

02/20/2018 at 9:40 am #2058039We have about a quarter inch of ice on everything. On the plus side, the temperature is up to 33 now, and I can see water coming from the downspouts, so things are starting to melt.
