I just looked and saw that.  I usually see people log the Veteran’s Memorial cache across the street at the same time as the Lambeau caches all the time, and I thought you had done the same.

Will either of them involve math? I’ve had a TB that wants to visit math-themed caches for far too long. Not caching very much and when one or the other of us does, there just aren’t those kind of caches in our path.

The first two would roughly fit under the math umbrella. Future ones definitely will. Still working on them. It’s finals week here.

I’m posting this here because I know it will be seen, this is the log I’m about to post the Cache Across America cache in Green Bay:

This is a log I never thought I would write, and hoped to never have to.  I came out here today to retrieve the TB, since the CO has requested to not have trackables in this cache.  All was well and good until after I had actually made it across the street, I heard someone behind me and found out it was a member of the Packers security staff.  He was pleasent and all, but he had mentioned that there had been issues in the past with people finding the cache because they were all up in the planters.  Apparently that’s a big no no, and I can certainly understand that.  He had also mentioned that the police had been called on other cachers in the past because they were there looking after dark or doing things that look more suspicious than what I was doing today.  I just wanted to post this note to make sure others know they probably will get stopped by security.  The best thing to do in that case is be 100% honest with them.

sounds like it’s time to move the cache to a better location that has permission.

I agree.  I’ll admit that I was doing things that maybe I shouldn’t have been doing, but others were as well.  The common denominator is the placement of the cache.

As I was sitting on the railing on Monday and moving the branches around, I didn’t like being so close to the road with cars going by. There isn’t any need to be in the planter. Also, right on the cache page it does give the names of the people who know about and gave permission for placing the cache.

I think it’s great that the CO got permission and is able to name the people they got permission from.  The thing about it is that people come and go.  At the very least, the security guy I talked to had no issue with a cache being there, but there’s an issue with cacher behavior while there.  I agree about being so close to muggles, that’s actually what I was most concerned about when I was there.  I’m thinking this one should be moved.

I thought it was pretty sheltered from walking muggles.

The walking ones yes, but I was more concerned about people driving by.
